NVRAM Madness for Sun Equipment?

A problem with older Sun equipment is that the battery life of the NVRAM chip which holds the machine and network configuration is between five and ten years.  Also, some modifications to Sun gear requires NVRAM adjustments to make the machine work as you'd want it to.  Here are some links to help fix some of the more common annoying problems.
